Evolysse Form and Evolysse Smooth: A New Generation of HA Filler at MPWR
The lines that run from the sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth have a way of making you look more tired than you feel. They're one of the most common concerns we hear about, and they're exactly what Evolysse was designed for. MPWR now offers Evolysse Form and Evolysse Smooth at both our Greensburg and Penn Township locations.
What is Evolysse?
Evolysse Form and Evolysse Smooth are FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers from Evolus, approved in 2025 for moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults 22 and older. Both are made with Cold-X technology, a cold manufacturing process designed to preserve the natural structure of hyaluronic acid.
What makes Cold-X technology different?
Hyaluronic acid is a substance your skin already makes. To turn it into a filler that holds its shape, manufacturers link the HA molecules together. Traditionally, that process uses heat. Evolysse is made at cold temperatures instead, which is designed to keep more of the HA molecule's natural structure intact. The goal is a gel that blends smoothly and moves naturally with your face.
In the clinical study that supported FDA approval, results in the nasolabial folds were sustained through 12 months for Evolysse Form. Individual results vary.
Form vs. Smooth: what's the difference?
Both products are approved for the same area and both use Cold-X technology. The difference is structure:
Evolysse Form is the more structured gel, placed deeper to support more pronounced folds.
Evolysse Smooth is the softer gel, suited to softening lines with a subtle, natural finish.
Your injector chooses based on your anatomy and how deep the folds are. Sometimes the answer is one, sometimes both.
What to expect
Your consultation: we look at your face at rest and in motion, talk about the look you want, and decide whether filler is the right tool. Sometimes it isn't, and we'll tell you.
The appointment: filler is placed in small amounts with careful technique. Most appointments are under an hour.
The first two weeks: filler settles and integrates with your tissue during this time. It's a normal part of the process and the reason we plan around it.
Aftercare: simple instructions to follow at home, available on our pre and post care page.
How Evolysse fits into our filler menu
Evolysse joins the fillers we already offer, including the Restylane family, biostimulators like Sculptra, and PRF biofiller. More options don't mean more filler. They mean we can pick the right product for each area and use only what you need. We won't overfill you.
