The Aura 3D Skin Scan gives us an objective look at your skin. Developed by Hexagon in Switzerland, Aura takes a single capture and builds a photo-realistic 3D model of your face and neck. It then uses AI-driven analysis to measure:

  • Texture and fine lines

  • Pigmentation and sun damage

  • Redness and visible vessels

  • Pore size

  • Facial balance and volume

We go through your 3D model with you, screen to screen, and build a plan around what’s actually there. That plan connects your results directly to MPWR treatments and skincare. Your scan also becomes your baseline, so follow-up scans show your progress side by side instead of leaving you to guess.

The scan is quick, comfortable and non-invasive, with no downtime. It works well for new patients, for anyone who feels stuck with their skincare, and for current patients who want to see how far they’ve come.

Included in your consultation at MPWR Aesthetics, this scan can also be performed if you are receiving a treatment outside the walls of MPWR Aesthetics and provided to you digitally.

  • Aura is a 3D facial imaging system developed by Hexagon. A single capture creates a photo-realistic 3D model of your face and neck. AI-driven analysis then measures your skin’s texture, pigmentation, redness, pores, and facial balance.

  • Not at all. The scan is completely non-invasive. You sit in front of the device for a moment, with no contact, no downtime, and nothing applied to your skin.

  • Your provider uses your results to build a personalized plan. It can include in-office treatments, at-home skincare, or both. Your scan is also saved as your baseline for future comparisons.

  • Your provider will recommend timing based on your plan. Many patients rescan after a treatment series to see their progress side by side.

  • Everyone! That includes new patients who want a clear starting point, anyone frustrated with skincare that isn’t working, people considering injectables, and current patients tracking results.

  • For current and new patients of MPWR Aesthetics, this will be part of your existing appointments and included in the new patient consultation. If you decide not to progress to treatment and would like a scan for your personal knowledge and/or use for analysis of external treatments, the cost would be $100 per scan.
