NEUROTOXIN
- Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E) for 1 week before treatment to minimize bruising risk
- No alcohol consumption 24 hours before treatment
- Avoid caffeine on the day of treatment
- Inform provider of any medications or recent vaccines, especially blood thinners
- Discontinue retinol products 2-3 days before treatment
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup
- Reschedule if you have an active infection or skin condition in the treatment area, or active use of antibiotics
Before Your Appointment:
Post-Care Instructions:
- Remain upright and avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for 2 hours
- No strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- No facials or other facial treatments for 1 week
- Avoid excessive heat exposure (saunas, hot tubs) for 24 hours
- Take Tylenol if needed for discomfort (avoid NSAIDs)
- Results typically appear within 14 days- you MUST wait 14 days before any touch ups to avoid over treating

MICRONEEDLING
Discontinue retinol products and other active ingredients 5-7 days before treatment
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before treatment
- Stop using exfoliants 3-5 days before treatment
- No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis 5-7 days before
- Avoid blood thinners for 1 week before (if medically cleared)
- If prone to cold sores, start antiviral medication 2 days before
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup
- Reschedule if you have active acne breakouts or skin infections
Before Your Appointment:
Post-Care Instructions:
- Expect redness for 24 - max of 72 hours
- Utilize post care products for as directed
- No makeup for 24 hours (mineral makeup only after 24 hours)
- Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks and use broad-spectrum SPF 30+
- No swimming pools, hot tubs, or saunas for 72 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours
- Do not use exfoliating products for 5-7 days
- Keep skin hydrated with recommended products
- No other facial treatments for 2 weeks
CHEMICAL PEELS
Before Your Appointment:
- Stop using retinoids, AHAs/BHAs 5-7 days before treatment
- No facial waxing or depilatories for 7 days before
- Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before
- Stop using prescription topicals (unless directed by provider) 3 days before
- No other facial treatments for 2 weeks before
- If prescribed pre-treatment medications, start as directed
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup
- Notify provider of any recent facial procedures or medications
- Expect peeling to begin 2-3 days after treatment and last 5-7 days
- Do not pick or pull at peeling skin
- Use only recommended gentle cleanser and moisturizer
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily (critical for healing)
- No hot water on treated area for 48 hours
- Avoid sweating/exercise for 48-72 hours
- No exfoliants or active ingredients until skin has fully healed
- Keep skin hydrated with approved moisturizer
- No makeup until peeling is complete (unless approved by provider)
- Schedule follow-up treatment as recommended by provider

Before Your Appointment:
One Week Before:
- Discontinue blood thinners if medically cleared (aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E)
- Stop smoking and avoid alcohol
- Stay well hydrated
- Avoid supplements known to thin blood (ginkgo, garlic, ginseng)
48 Hours Before:
- Avoid retinoids and harsh skincare products
- Increase water intake to ensure good hydration
- No chemical peels or other facial treatments
- Avoid sun exposure
24 Hours Before:
- No caffeine consumption
- Continue increased water intake
- Avoid processed foods and excess sugar
- Get adequate rest
- Eat a nutritious meal before treatment
Morning of Treatment:
- Arrive well-hydrated
- Eat a light meal
- Come with clean skin, free of makeup
- Wear comfortable clothing with easy access for blood draw
- Keep head elevated/ while sleeping for first 24 hours
- No touching or massaging treated areas
- Take Tylenol only if needed (avoid NSAIDs)
- No makeup for 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 48 hours
- Avoid direct sun exposure and wear sunglasses and SPF outdoors at al times
- No other facial treatments for 2 weeks
- Avoid excessive heat (saunas, hot showers) for 48-72 hours
Post-Care Instructions:
HA Filler/Radiesse
Before Your Appointment:
- Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, NSAIDs, high doses of Vitamin E, turmeric, ginger, and other supplements that increase bleeding risk for 1 week prior
- Do not have dental work or vaccinations for 2 weeks before treatment
- Inform provider about bleeding disorders, facial surgery history, allergies, or medications
- Avoid alcohol before procedure
- DO NOT ICE the treated area
- Do not apply makeup for 24 hours
- Refrain from any facial massages, vibration, gua sha, Clarisonic scrubbers for two weeks
- Redness, swelling, and light pencil-tip size bruising are normal for a few days to a week
- Significant swelling can occur in the first couple of days to a week
- Do not massage or rub the area unless specifically instructed by your provider
- Use acetaminophen (Tylenol) for discomfort in the first 48 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 48 hours
- Try to sleep slightly elevated and not on your side for the first 48 hours
- Do not fly for 48 hours after treatment unless cleared by your provider
- Lip filler: avoid straws and cigarette or like device use for 1 week

Before Your Appointment:
- Stop use of all aspirin, ibuprofen/Motrin, Aleve, and vitamin E (pills) for one week prior to treatment
- Avoid blood thinners, anti-inflammatory medications, and supplements that may increase bleeding risk
- Do not have dental work or vaccinations for 2 weeks before treatment
- Inform provider if you have any bleeding disorders, previous cosmetic surgical procedures, history of keloid scars, facial herpes, or use of immunosuppressive therapies
- Redness/swelling is normal for a few days but should subside after 48 hours
- Swelling is usually significant in the first couple of days and then will drastically reduce as the product settles, followed by a gradual increase in collagen
- For the first 48 hours, use acetaminophen (Tylenol) for any discomfort
- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen) can be safely taken after the first 48 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours after treatment
- Massage ALL areas of the TREATMENT AREA for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days as instructed at your appointment
- DO NOT HEAVILY massage areas on the FACE—follow your provider's specific instructions
