Thinning Hair Isn't Something You Have to Just Accept

Most people don't come in the moment they notice. They come in a year or two later, after the part line has widened and the ponytail has thinned and the photos have started to bother them.

We understand the delay. Hair loss feels like something you're supposed to quietly manage on your own. But the timing matters more here than almost anywhere else in aesthetics, because we can support follicles that are still alive. We can't bring back follicles that are gone.

What we're actually working with

Hair grows in cycles. Follicles spend years in an active growth phase, then shed and rest, then start again. Thinning happens when that growth phase shortens, the resting phase lengthens, and each new hair comes in a little finer than the last.

Genetics, hormones, stress, illness, and nutrition all push on that cycle. The goal of a restoration protocol isn't magic — it's extending the growth phase and improving the environment the follicle is growing in.

What we use, and why

Our hair restoration program is built from three things that work on different pathways:

PRF scalp injections. We draw a small sample of your blood and concentrate your own platelets, stem cells, and growth factors. Because PRF is processed without anticoagulants, it forms a fibrin matrix that releases those growth factors slowly rather than all at once. We inject it precisely into the areas of concern to nourish follicles and extend the growth phase.

Toskani microneedling. Controlled micro-channels across the scalp improve circulation and help targeted actives reach the follicle level rather than sitting on the surface.

Nutrafol. Clinically studied nutraceuticals that address what's happening internally — stress, hormones, nutrition. The topical and injectable work is only half the equation if the internal drivers go unaddressed.

We don't treat this as a menu where you pick one. We build the protocol around your pattern of loss, your scalp health, and your goals.

Who this works well for

• Early thinning at the crown, temples, or part line

• Postpartum or stress-related shedding

• As an adjunct after a hair transplant, or alongside medical therapy your physician has prescribed

If you have advanced loss with smooth, shiny scalp and no visible fine hairs, we'll tell you honestly that this isn't likely to give you what you want, and point you toward a surgical consult instead.

What to expect

The series. Most patients do three to four monthly sessions, then move to individual maintenance.

Downtime. Minimal. Mild scalp sensitivity or redness for 24 to 48 hours.

Timeline. Early signs are usually reduced shedding and improved texture. Visible density comes gradually, over three to six months, because it has to follow your hair cycle. Nothing about this is fast, and any practice promising otherwise is selling you something.

Before your appointment. Arrive with clean, product-free hair. If it's medically appropriate for you, avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements beforehand — confirm with your primary care provider first, never on your own. Full instructions are on our pre- and post-care page.

After. Skip tight hairstyles, hot tools, hard workouts, and alcohol for 24 hours.

An honest note on results

Results vary, and they're shaped by genetics, overall health, and how consistent you are with the plan. PRF and microneedling are procedural treatments used widely in aesthetic practice, but not every component is FDA-approved specifically for a hair-loss indication. We'd rather say that plainly than have you find it later.
