Dr. Samuel Lynch, DMSc, DMD — a Harvard-trained scientist widely regarded as the world's leading authority on growth factors — spent more than 30 years identifying and developing therapeutic applications for platelet-derived growth factor. Over the course of his career, he's authored over 120 publications, holds more than 150 patents, and built (and sold) four successful companies in regenerative medicine.
His discovery of PDGF's therapeutic potential led directly to four separate FDA-approved medical products: Regranex® (1997), GEM 21S® (2005), Augment® (2015), and Augment® Injectable (2018). Collectively, these products have been used to treat over 5.5 million patients in the last 28 years.
In 2024, Dr. Lynch founded LRM Aesthetics and launched ariessence pure PDGF+® — bringing that same level of scientific precision into the aesthetics space for the first time.
